The Battle of Taillebourg, 21 July 1242 is an 1837 painting by Eugène Delacroix depicting the Battle of Taillebourg. It is one of 33 large-scale works commissioned by Louis-Philippe I for the Gallery of Battles at the Palace of Versailles, which was inaugurated in 1837. The painting still hangs in the gallery between Horace Vernet's The Battle of Bouvines and Charles-Philippe Larivière's The Battle of Mons-en-Pévèle. Delacroix's work is unique in the gallery as it is his only contribution.
