Lord Howe's Action, or the Glorious First of June is a 1795 painting by Philip James de Loutherbourg depicting the British naval victory under Lord Howe over a French force led by Louis Thomas Villaret de Joyeuse on the Glorious First of June 1794. The painting captures the intense naval battle during the American Revolutionary War and is now housed in the National Maritime Museum's Queen's House in London.
